Update

It's hard to believe I haven't updated my website since 2023, but life happens.

2024 was a different year. I got sober in June... my life has been getting better ever since, in some respects. I've lost weight, I feel better, have more clarity and I have finally begun my healing journey. It's going well by the way...

Unfortunately, the start of 2025 has proven to be difficult. I had an unexpected surgery on an abscess in January, another surgery to follow on Valentine's Day, and now I am going to be having hopefully my last surgery in regard to this issue coming up here soon. Date TBD.

On top of the minor inconveniences that have occurred since those surgery's my dad's dog, which is kind of a family dog, suddenly passed away.

So, it seems as if 2025 was going to steadily be a challenging year for me. I'm hoping the storm is over and things start to look up. I'm not holding my breath.

As you can imagine, motivation has been hard to come by. When those little moments popped up, I couldn't physically sit to type on my computer. I am finally back to work and back to a somewhat normal schedule. When I found out I would need another surgery you can imagine my shock and disappointment. I'm trying to have a better outlook and attitude about things going forward. Hopefully I'll be finding some motivation to get a book out soon, but my mind has been everywhere.

Thank you for your patience in waiting for the final book in The Legacy Series. I really connected with Freialen's character and with everything going on, it's been hard finding her again.
