The road to self-publishing was a long and rewarding process. I learned a lot about the different aspects that go into creating a book. The only thing I didn't do was the editing and eBook cover.
I formatted the book, using a program that was supposed to be easy but took me a while to get the hang of when it came to the Chapter headings.
I designed the cover for the paperback and hardcover. Which was a crazy process with the program I used. Brook brush is great, but they put a box where your UPC barcode goes, and it throws you off on the layout. You don't know if you are lining everything up correctly and you literally have to download the image to tell. Needless to say, I downloaded it probably 50 times before I got it ready. Then I uploaded the images to Amazon and got proofs of the book to make sure everything was okay for the release. Well, the image wasn't center so that had to be changed. Downloaded more images (a billion times) lol.
Now they should be all set. I really hope everyone loves Deadly Attraction.
So far everyone who has read it that I know of, says great things. My mom isn't a big reader and said she couldn't put it down.
Hope everyone is well. Stay safe out there! <3
